About my work
I’m a heritage professional, archivist and artist, with a practice rooted in research, visual storytelling and care for collections — whether institutional, creative or personal.
Creativity and research have always gone hand in hand for me. I studied Art History at University College London and later completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Children’s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. I continue to develop my creative practice through drawing, printmaking and surface pattern design and I’m at my happiest either absorbed in making work or deep in archives, uncovering the stories held within objects, images and documents.
Alongside my creative practice, I have built a career in museums and heritage. I have worked at the Museum of Cambridge and the David Parr House, where I was Pilgrim Trust Curator, delivering funded archive and collections projects, managing volunteers and contributing to exhibitions, public programmes and retail development. I have extensive experience creating and managing archives, cataloguing collections, overseeing digitisation projects and ensuring collections are cared for to professional standards.
My work often sits at the intersection of heritage, creativity and access. I’m particularly interested in making collections — whether family archives, artists’ bodies of work or historic collections — organised, understandable and usable, both physically and digitally. I’m confident working with technology and enjoy building clear systems that help people engage with their material over the long term.
Alongside this, I run my own creative practice and small retail businesses, including an Etsy shop and a Spoonflower shop, where I design and sell illustrated products, patterns and custom items. My experience developing museum retail spaces and online shops informs how I help artists think practically about organising their work, presenting it professionally and, where appropriate, creating sustainable income streams.
At heart, I’m a thoughtful project manager and collaborator. I value clarity, care and accessibility, and I’m motivated by work that helps people connect with their histories, creativity and collections. Looking ahead, I’m interested in developing creative programmes that combine research, making and wellbeing, building on my experience in heritage, education and creative practice
